This huge Box Elder bowl is probably the largest one I have ever turned. It has beautiful natural red spalting throughout as well as a myriad of holes caused by the Ambrosia beetle which attacked and killed the tree. It has been finished with a hand-rubbed oil finish and polished to a medium gloss. 5 1/2" high x 18" diameter.
