This huge Wild Cherry hollowform is the largest Cherry Burl I have ever turned. It took a friend and I an entire afternoon to drag it up a hill from a lady's backyard. The voids in the burl have been filled with black epoxy resin and sanded smooth to follow the compound curves of the piece. The hollow vessel is finished with a hand-rubbed oil finish and polished to a high gloss. 17 1/2" high x 16 1/2" diameter.
