This bowl is made from Oak Burl. The growth pattern of the burl produces stunning patterns in the grain which are highlighted by bark inclusions, cracks, and voids or openings in the wood. As you turn the bowl to look at it, the grain pattern keeps changing. The bowl is finished with a hand-rubbed oil finish and polished to a low-luster gloss. 4 1/2" high x 8 1/2" diameter.
