This bowl is made from Big Leaf Maple Burl from Oregon. The curly grain is spectacular. It has been handcarved with 12 wide spiral flutes. This bowl won 1st place at the Georgia National Fair woodturning exhibit. The finish is a hand-rubbed oil finish polished to a medium gloss. 4 1/4" high x 9 1/4" diameter.
