This Monkey Pod bowl was made from a piece of wood I collected on the island of Maui, Hawaii. It is handcarved with spiral flutes to dramatically show off the contrast of the heartwood and sapwood. The bowl is finished with a hand-rubbed oil finish and polished to a medium gloss. 4" high x 8 3/4" diameter.
