This beautiful flat ovoid hollowform was turned from Tasmanian Blackwood. This is the only piece of this wood I have ever had. The grain is spectacular with a deep chatoyance. The piece has been finished with a hand-rubbed oil finish and polished to a high gloss. 3 1/2" high x 9 1/2" diameter.
